Delete your account

Deleting your account takes your sites offline, cancels an active subscription and ends your access. Here's what happens and how to prepare.

Before you delete

You can't undo the deletion. If you only want to stop paying or remove one site, there are smaller steps, and it's worth keeping what you want to hold on to:

  • To stop paying but keep the account, change your plan: see Change or cancel your plan.
  • To remove a single site, delete just that project: see Delete a project.
  • To keep the messages your forms received, use Export CSV in Leads.
  • To keep a project's code, sync it with GitHub: see GitHub.

How to delete it

  1. Open Settings in the sidebar

  2. In the Delete account section, click Delete my account

  3. Type your account's email to confirm

If your account has a password, type it too. Accounts that only sign in with Google confirm with the email alone.

  4. Click Delete my account for good

You're signed out and taken back to the sign-in screen, which shows that the account was deleted.

What happens

  • The workspaces you own are closed, and all their projects are archived.
  • The sites go offline, including those on a custom domain.
  • If there is an active paid subscription, it's cancelled first. If cancelling fails, nothing is deleted and the account stays as it was.
  • Your name, email, password and Google link are removed from the account.
  • You're signed out on every device.
  • The email becomes free: you can create a new account with it, which starts empty.

Important.Projects, sites and credits from a deleted account don't carry over to a new account, even one with the same email.

Some internal records, such as billing records and the activity history, are kept. To request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, write to [email protected], as described in the Privacy policy.

Common problems

“Your workspace still has other members.”

Deletion is blocked while other people still use a workspace you own, so nobody loses access. Contact support.

“We couldn't cancel your subscription right now”

We couldn't reach the payment processor at that moment. Nothing was deleted. Try again in a few minutes.

“The e-mail you typed doesn't match this account.”

Type exactly the email shown in the confirmation, which is your account's email.

“That password is incorrect.”

Use the account's current password. If you don't remember it, reset it through Forgot your password? and come back.

Can I get the account back later?

Not from the dashboard. A deleted account can't be reopened, and its sites don't come back online.
