Your site's free address

Every published project gets a Micronuage address at no cost, on any plan. Learn how it's formed, where to find it and what each status means.

What the address looks like

Project typeFree address
Template projectproject-name.micronuage.com.br
Code projectproject-name.micronuage.app

The project-name comes from the name you gave the project when you created it: no accents, lowercase, with hyphens instead of spaces. "Joe's Bakery" becomes joe-s-bakery. If that name is already taken, Micronuage adds a number, such as joe-s-bakery-2.

The address is reserved from the moment the project is created, but it only shows the site after the first publish.

Tip.The free address is a good way to show the site to partners and customers before you have a domain. Feel free to share it: it keeps working even after you connect your own domain.

Where to find it

  • In the template editor: Publish → Website URL, or More → Domains.
  • In the code editor: the Domain button at the top.
  • On the dashboard's Domains page, which lists every project's address and its status.

Statuses on the Domains page

StatusWhat it means
LiveThe project is published and the address shows the site.
Not publishedThe project hasn't been published yet. The address is reserved but shows nothing.
SuspendedThe project went over the plan's project limit after a plan change. Its data is kept, but the site is offline.

Projects converted to code

A template project converted to code keeps showing its template version at the .micronuage.com.br address until the code is published for the first time. From then on, the site lives at the .micronuage.app address, with the same project-name.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the free address?

Not from the dashboard: it's set when the project is created and doesn't change if you rename the project. To use another name, connect your own domain or contact support.

Do I have to pay for the address?

No. It's included in every plan, Free included.

Does the free address keep working after I connect my domain?

Yes. It can't be removed and keeps answering. On template sites, your domain becomes the address search engines are pointed to.

Why doesn't the address open?

The project has to be published. Check its status on the Domains page.
