Edit pages and sections in the visual editor
In projects made from a template, you create pages, arrange sections and change copy by clicking in the preview or the Edit tab, without spending credits.
When you use the visual editor
Template-based projects open in the visual editor: the AI chat on the left and the site on the right, with the Preview, Edit and More tabs. Code projects open in a different editor, with a Code tag next to the name; see Code mode.
Everything you change by hand here is free and becomes a new version in the history.

| Share and Publish | In the top-right corner. See Publish. |
Pages
The page selector sits at the top, next to the preview. Use it to switch the page shown, look one up with Find page and create new pages.
Open the page selector and click New page
Type the Page name
Under Inside, choose where it goes
Top-level page creates a first-level page; picking another page creates a subpage of it.
Click Create
The new page opens in the preview, ready for sections.
To delete a page, use the Remove page icon next to it in the selector. The maximum number of pages depends on the template and is never more than 48.
Sections
Every page is made of sections, such as the hero, services, testimonials, contact and footer. In the Edit tab, the Blocks list shows the sections of the open page.
- Click a section in the list, or a block in the preview, to open its fields.
- Move up and Move down change the order. On the home page, the hero always stays at the top and the footer always at the bottom.
- Remove takes the section off the page.
- To add a section, pick its type in the list at the bottom of the panel and click Add. It goes in right before the footer.
- The Navigation menu follows your pages. Ask for a change in the chat or use Let AI set up the menu.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to save my changes?
Section fields and settings only apply after Save changes. Reordering, adding or removing sections and creating or deleting pages are saved right away.
The editor won't let me change what I want.
The visual editor only shows the sections and fields the template provides. For anything else, ask the AI in the chat. When available, the project menu offers Convert to code (beta), which lifts that limit and can't be undone.
I changed something and don't like it.
Open History and restore the previous version. See Version history.
How do I use the editor on a phone?
On a phone, the editor shows one screen at a time, with the Chat, Preview, Edit and More tabs at the bottom.
