From idea to a live site on your domain
A start-to-finish path: gather your content, create the project, refine it with AI, review it, publish it and connect your own domain.
1. Gather the essentials
Before opening Micronuage, collect what the site needs to say. With the real content at hand, the AI gets it right more often and you spend fewer credits on adjustments.
- Your company name and one sentence on what it does and for whom.
- Your services or products, with prices if you usually publish them.
- Your contact details: phone, WhatsApp, e-mail, address and opening hours.
- Your logo and good photos of your work, your team or your space.
- One or two sites you admire, as a style reference.
- Your domain, if you already have one registered.
2. Create the project
Go to the Dashboard
If you don't have an account yet, see Create an account.
Describe your business
In the Describe the website you want to build field, say what the company does, for whom and which pages you want, then click Start building.
Or start from a template
Under Or start from a template, pick one for your industry and click Use template.
Open the project
The project opens in the editor, with the chat on one side and the preview on the other.
3. Refine it with AI
- Start with the structure (pages and sections), move on to copy and photos, and leave the look for last.
- Make one change at a time and check it in the preview before the next.
- Attach your logo and photos in the chat so the AI uses your real material.
- For a big change, such as a booking system, start in Plan mode.
More tips in How to ask the AI well.
4. Review it like a visitor
- Go through every page in the preview and check how it looks on a phone; in the visual editor, use Preview size.
- Click the buttons and menu links, read every text and make sure the images load.
- In the visual editor, open More and then Publishing checklist to see what's missing.
5. Publish
Click Publish
In a code project, confirm with Publish now.
Open the free address
The site goes online at a free Micronuage address, on any plan. See Free address.
Test the form
Send a test message through the published site and check that it arrived under Leads.
6. Connect your domain
A custom domain is available on paid plans, from Starter up. If you don't have one yet, register the address with a domain registrar before you continue.
Subscribe to a paid plan
See Plans and limits.
Open the project's domain settings
In a code project, click Domain; in the visual editor, open More and then Domains.
Under Your own domain, type the address and click Connect
Create the DNS record at your registrar
On the site where you registered the domain, create the CNAME record shown on screen.
Click Verify connection
Once verified, the SSL certificate is issued and the status changes to Live.
The full walkthrough is in Connect your domain, and the common errors in Domain troubleshooting.
7. After launch
- Review page titles and descriptions for search engines; see SEO.
- Answer the leads that arrive under Leads and mark how each one is going.
- Make small adjustments often and publish after each round. The history keeps every version.
Do I need a paid plan to publish?
No. Every plan, Free included, publishes at a free Micronuage address. A paid plan is needed to use your own domain.
How long until my domain works?
It depends on when the DNS record you created at your registrar takes effect. Use Verify connection and follow the status until it shows Live.
Can I keep changing the site after publishing?
Yes. Changes stay in the preview until you publish again, so visitors only see what you approved.
I'd rather have someone build the site for me.
